Ready for Roofing Shingles ... and then rains came

Finished roof over the Lanai yesterday - complex project with all different angles on the lanai and the new and old roofs...

  

Finally all under roof with tar paper...

Guys showed up today and used neat crane to load shingles on the roof in preparation for next step:

 

 

Then rains came again and makeshift prevention of leaks between old and new roofs ...

Sigh ... supposed to rain next 3 days (good thing is Fla dry season ?)  Can't put shingles on wet roof...

After that electricians and trades, windows etc. before they demo kitchen wall!
